Happy Best Bitter Day!

Welcome to our inaugural Best Bitter Day, celebrating 31 years since the first casks of Best Bitter rolled out of the brewery and into pubs across the Dales! We’re incredibly proud of the legacy of this beer, so raise a pint with us at your local or at the brewery!

Here’s a whistle-stop tour through the brewery with our brewer Alex, who explains the unique processes we use to craft this excellent pint – which haven’t changed since Paul Theakston’s first brew 31 years ago.
