The beer that started it all, first brewed by Paul Theakston in September 1992. Nothing has changed since then – except that we brew a lot more of it now!
Using the best British ingredients, this Yorkshire icon is built upon a bold, sweet malt base. Challenger, Goldings and Fuggle hops are crammed into the boil and hopback, creating bold peppery bitterness and a wonderful fresh grassy flavour.
Best served from the cask at the brewery, but in a pinch, Best Bitter in can comes damn close.
