20th Anniversary Brewery Tours Marked First Brew

As you may already have heard, this year we are celebrating our 20^th anniversary. Twenty years ago Paul Theakston bought a disused maltings in Masham and carefully converted it into the Black Sheep Brewery. On the 14^th of September brewing began at the brewery and it has continued there to this day.   To mark the occasion we offered a series of free brewery tours on the 14th and launched our new Limited Edition beer, Progress! The tours were a great success, but if you missed out then there are several other events lined up later in the year, including  “The Magic of Yeast” lecture by one of Britain’s top scientists, Sir Paul Nurse.
