Our brewery tours will take you on a journey from the beginning of Black Sheep’s history, right through to the present day. You’ll also get a full insight into how our beers are made, and the unique techniques we use to create the perfect pint. The tour of our Yorkshire brewery starts with a short introduction video featuring Paul and Jo Theakston. You’ll then be shepherded into the brewhouse where you’ll experience the sights, sounds and – most importantly – the smells of a working brewery. As all tours should, your brewery tour will finish at the bar, with a beer tasting of some our award-winning brews. Space is limited so we advise that you book in advance.
Sensible footwear is required. We recommend flat shoes, boots or trainer style footwear. Flip-flop style,open toes or stilettos are NOT permitted in the brewery.
The brewery tour route includes several flights of stairs and there are no places to sit down. Those with mobility issues may wish to call before booking to discuss your needs with our team.
We operate a working brewery, and so machinery and operatives may be working during your tour. Some of our machinery is loud, so those with a hearing sensitivity or impairment may wish to call ahead to discuss their needs.
Children are welcome on our tours, only when accompanied at all times with an adult. Child tickets include a soft drink (Post Mix or cordial only).
Family tickets are for a maximum of 2 adults and two children.
All tickets are for the day in question and can’t be transferred to another date.
