PALE ALE FAQs:
WHAT IS A PALE ALE?
Pale ale is a type of beer that’s light in colour and balanced in flavour – not too bitter, not too sweet. Made with pale malt, these ales have a noticeable hoppy taste and are popular with drinkers who enjoy a crisp and flavourful brew.
WHAT IS A HAZY PALE?
A hazy pale ale is a beer that intentionally looks cloudy or hazy. We use specific brewing techniques like dry hopping (adding hops later during the brewing process) and not filtering the ale to give it its distinct cloudy appearance. Despite the non-traditional look, hazy pale ale has the same balanced taste and hoppy qualities of a regular pale ale, with a softer mouthfeel and juicier, more tropical flavours.
WHAT IS A BLONDE ALE?
Blonde ale is a pale ale with a mild flavour. It has a light golden colour, clean taste, and balanced malt and hop profile. Blonde ale is easy to drink and is an excellent choice if you prefer lighter ales.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN IPA AND PALE ALE?
India Pale Ales (IPA)and pale ale are similar, but IPAs are more intense, with stronger hop flavours, more bitterness and a higher alcohol content compared to regular pale ales. They often have citrus, pine or floral notes and are generally bolder and more robust.
