The #BestInCask Campaign
Here at Black Sheep, we love cask ale. It’s what the brewery was built on back in 1992 and we love nothing more than a pint of fresh, well-conditioned cask. In celebration of the category and in an effort to shine a light on this amazing form of beer, we’re launching the #BestInCask campaign, encouraging people to get out to their local and experience a pint of cask ale.
The #BestInCask campaign is being launched this September in anticipation of Cask Ale Week 2020 (24th Sep – 4th Oct) to inspire drinkers to visit their local pub and experience the tastes, aromas and memorable feelings that a well poured pint of cask ale can offer. After a prolonged period where cask ale was widely unavailable, we believe that now is the time to get out of the house and safely enjoy a pint or two.
As part of the campaign, we are launching a new, premium tankard for our flagship cask ale brand, Black Sheep Best Bitter. The ICON tankard has been introduced to help premiumise the image of cask ale and to create a more visual, memorable and sharable experience. These tankards will be widely available to the on-trade and will be rolled out over the next few months as we look to change the way cask is served to consumers up and down the country.
Away for the tankard and as part of the #BestInCask campaign, we will be using our social media channels to engage with the cask ale community and get people talking about our favourite style of beer. Competitions, videos, polls and more will be published across our online platforms for the duration of the campaign. Get involved in the conversation using #BestInCask!
