A Proper Yorkshire Day Out: Join Us for the Black Sheep Tractor Run

There’s nothing quite like a Yorkshire Sunday done properly. Fresh air, good folk, proper beer and a line-up of tractors stretching across the Dales. And this May, we’re bringing it all together once again for the Black Sheep Tractor Run at the Black Sheep Brewery Visitor Centre.

So, whether you’re tractor-mad, beer-loving, partial to a bacon butty, or just fancy a cracking family day out in the heart of Yorkshire, get Sunday 24th May firmly in the diary.

From 8AM through to 6PM, our Visitor Centre in Masham will be buzzing with tractors rolling in from across the region, proper Yorkshire hospitality flowing all day long, and plenty to keep everyone entertained.

Tractors, Tykes and a Proper Good Atmosphere

The heart of the day, of course, is the tractor run itself. We’ll be welcoming tractors from across the Dales and beyond, with engines rumbling into Masham from early morning. From classic workhorses to well-loved modern machines, it’s a chance for owners to show off their pride and joy while raising money for a brilliant cause.

If you’ve got a tractor of your own, why not enter it and join the run? And if not, there’s still plenty to enjoy as spectators line up to watch the convoy head out through Yorkshire countryside.

It’s one of those days where community spirit shines through. Farmers, families, locals, visitors, beer drinkers and little ones with ice cream covered fingers all gather together for a great Yorkshire day out.

Proper Yorkshire Beer, Obviously

You can’t come to Black Sheep and not expect good beer. Our bars will be pouring proper Yorkshire brews throughout the day, with favourites from across the Black Sheep range ready to enjoy in the sunshine. Whether you fancy a classic pint, something crisp and refreshing, or a steady afternoon session beer while live music plays in the background, we’ll have you sorted.

And if beer’s not your thing, don’t worry, there’ll be plenty of other drinks available too!

Great Food and Live Music All Day

No Yorkshire gathering is complete without good food. We’ll be serving breakfast from early doors for people arriving bright and early, alongside plenty of hearty food throughout the day to keep everybody fuelled up. Think proper comfort food, relaxed outdoor atmosphere and plenty of spots to sit with a pint while soaking it all in. Add in live music across the afternoon and you’ve got all the ingredients for a laid-back bank holiday weekend.

Supporting Yorkshire Air Ambulance

As much as the day is about bringing people together, there’s an even more important reason behind it all. The Black Sheep Tractor Run is proudly raising funds for Yorkshire Air Ambulance - a charity that provides lifesaving emergency response services across Yorkshire’s towns, villages and rural communities.

It’s a cause close to many hearts across the county, and every pint poured, tractor entered and donation made helps support the incredible work their crews do every single day.
