Our final seasonal cask beer: Blitzen
As they say, ‘Christmas is officially here when Blitzen hits the taps’. Well it’s here!
We’ve finally reached the last beer in our biggest ever seasonal cask range celebrating our 30th Birthday year. Of course, it had to be our festive favourite, Blitzen, our rich, ruby ale.
Good tidings we bring in the form of a biscuity malt base topped with Cascade and Goldings hops. These bring a balanced bitterness along with rich fruit and bright citrus flavours. We don’t stop there! Mixed peel and bags of muscovado sugar go into the hopback, enhancing these malt and hop flavours along with an extra layer of Christmas indulgence. As is the Black Sheep way, this Winter warmer finishes refreshingly dry, keeping you coming back for more.
