Brewery of the Year 2007

20 December 2006
Category: Brewery News

Black Sheep Brewery, Paul Theakston’s independent brewery situated in the picturesque market town of Masham in lower Wensleydale, has been picked out once again as the Brewery of the Year in the Good Pub Guide 2007.

Since it was founded in 1992, Black Sheep Brewery has gone from strength to strength thanks to a commitment to quality ingredients that are brought together using traditional production methods to produce outstanding and individualistic beers that are packed full of character and flavour.

Black Sheep Brewery now not only supplies around 700 outlets throughout the North of England, but sells its cask beers nationally through wholesalers and large pub chains. Indeed, demand is such that a second brewhouse has recently been installed alongside the original brewhouse, both of which are housed within our stone-built brewery in Masham.
