Black Sheep Brewery has produced 450 Thirst Slayer promotion kits, containing collector cards, stickers, posters and tent cards, which have gone into Punch Tavern outlets, local direct pubs and wholesalers.
Black Sheep’s Paul Theakston said; ‘Cask Ale Week is a great opportunity to promote real ale and support publicans across the country. Now more than ever it is important to do everything we can to retain the loyalty of existing customers and encourage new customers into pubs.
‘Last month, we launched a new illuminated hand pump and have already installed 50 across the North. Inventions like these are vital to raising the profile of quality cask ale and making it stand out among more heavily mass-marketed products.’
