As the nights draw in and the temperature drops, why not settle down in your local and snuggle into a Woolly Jumper?

That’s the name of Black Sheep Brewery’s latest cask ale – a hand-crafted, Porter-style, session beer that’s exceptionally dark in colour with a rich, biscuity flavour.

Created with cold winter nights in mind, this warming ale is brewed with a touch of barley and generous handfuls of chocolate malt, making it a deliciously comforting and slightly decadent drink to savour while toasting your toes in front of a roaring log fire.

Connoisseurs will particularly enjoy the notes of chocolate and liquorice, which are followed by the classic Black Sheep dry and refreshingly bitter finish.

Woolly Jumper is the latest addition to Black Sheep’s flock of cask ales, many of which are stocked in pubs and bars across the North East.

At 4% ABV it’s a hearty beer, which will be available throughout November and December at a selection of free-trade pubs, as well as through the Classic Drinks wholesale group.
