A committed team of middle distance runners from the Black Sheep Brewery are undertaking The Great North Run for charity. Ashleigh Robson (Marketing Co-ordinator) Lara Theakston (Shop Assistant), and Jo Theakston (Takehome Sales Manager) will be battling it out to complete the 13.1 mile course and run home to glory.

Paul Theakston, Brewery Founder and Jo’s father commented: ‘We are so proud of the team for putting themselves through this challenge and especially doing so under the Black Sheep Brewery name. We hope their chosen charities will benefit substantially from their efforts.’

Ashleigh is running on behalf of Diabetes UK, Lara on behalf of Rural Development Centre in Uganda, and Jo on behalf of Help for Heroes supporting wounded British Military. The race takes place on Sunday 5 October.
