In October 1992 our beers first made their appearance in pubs in and around the Yorkshire Dales beginning a new era for myself Paul Theakston and my family who have brewed in Masham for six generations.

In celebration of 20 years of brewing we lovingly crafted a rich and pure single hopped, Limited Edition 10% abv, cask ale with the trademark classic black sheep dry and bitter finish. We wanted to create a special limited edition version of this beer and at 10% abv, this is the definitive version of that ale. It is expertly brewed using only full flower English progress hops, maris otter malted barley and pure dales water. We use a touch of wheat which helps deliver the lovely creamy head and lacing down the glass - just what you would expect from a proper Yorkshire beer!

This is the ultimate expression of our tried and trusted brewing methods and our unique Yorkshire Square fermenting system, and with richness and depth allows the purity and quality of our ingredients to shine through.
