Local Nurse Baares Bra for Breast Cancer
Veronica Allinson, a MacMillan Clinical Nurse Specialist in Breast Care at the Calderdale and Kirklees NHS Foundation Trust, and daughters Rachael (29) and Lucy (27), approached the Black Sheep Brewery to support their fundraising efforts with their plan to walk in bras embellished with Black Sheep.
Paul Theakston, Black Sheep Managing Director said, “Veronica certainly wasn’t sheepish in coming to us with her Bra Bra Black Sheep idea, so we were delighted to help! The Yorkshire community has helped us raise more than £36,000 for our Big Push Up Challenge, so we are pleased to be able to support them in their fundraising efforts.”
The Black Sheep Brewery is approaching the end of a year long Big Push Up Campaign, raising money for the Breast Cancer Ward at the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton, which will culminate in a team from the Brewery departing on June 9th to trek across the Arctic.
